Tranmere have completed the signings of strikers Lucas Akins and Adam McGurk on one-year contracts.
Akins, 21, will join Rovers subject to international clearance following a successful week-long trial after two years at Hamilton Academical.
Northern Ireland Under-21 international McGurk, 21, joins from Aston Villa.
He made his League One debut for Rovers in their 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday after initially signing on a non-contract basis.
"I'd like to welcome both Lucas and Adam to the club," said manager Les Parry. "They've both done really well with us during their time here.
"They have shown excellent attitude and ability and are bright prospects.
"They are hungry young footballers who add to our attacking options and I'm delighted they have both agreed to join us."
