Positive approach pleases Moore

Moore's side are chasing their first away win since October

Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore said he was pleased with his side's positive approach in their 1-1 draw at Northampton Town on Saturday.

Rovers have been searching for more victories away from home in recent weeks and Moore believes their efforts will pay off.

"We have been positive," he told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"Like I say someone is going to get a tonking aren't they? But we need it sooner rather than later."

Although Moore was pleased with his side's overall display, he admitted the players need to shoot more often if they are to get the goals they deserve.

"If you don't shoot you're never going to score," he continued.

"Its like the raffle isn't it? If you don't buy a ticket you're never going to win it.

"The opportunities we've created here away from home should have been enough for us to win the game."
