Manager laments Tranmere choices

Ronnie Moore
Moore has seen Rovers' home form slip in recent matches

Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore believes the decision-making from his players has to improve if they are to convert some of their draws into wins.

Rovers were frustrated at Prenton Park on Saturday as they drew 1-1 with MK Dons, their third straight home draw.

"I can't fault the effort and I can't fault the commitment," Moore told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"What I can fault and what we need to do to make us a better side is your decision making in the final third."

I'm disappointed really as you look at these two games and and think what a wonderful opportunity if you win them

Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore
The Rovers boss wants his team to be challenging for the play-offs at the end of the season, but is disappointed to let another home result slip.

He concedes his side need to be more clinical in attacking areas.

"Be it a shot, a pass, a cross - we made all the wrong decisions," continued Moore.

"I'm disappointed really as you look at these two games and and think what a wonderful opportunity if you win them. There has been nothing between the sides and we just haven't had the break.

"But we keep working and there are games still there to be played.

"We haven't lost a game. We've played against the big sides and haven't lost but we really need wins when you're in the position we're at."
