Tranmere Rovers have completed the signing of midfielder Charlie Barnett on a one-year contract.
The 19-year-old was part of Liverpool's FA Youth Cup winning side in 2006 and had been on trial at Prenton Park following his release by the Reds.
On signing with Tranmere, Barnett revealed he is now focusing on breaking into the first-team on a regular basis.
"I'm really happy to have signed. I just want to get started now and play some games," he said.
Barnett is set to continue his run in the side when Rovers welcome Blackpool to Prenton Park on Saturday.
