Tranmere Rovers right-back Danny Holmes has signed a new one-year contract with the club.

The 19-year-old is a product of Rovers' youth system and spent part of last season on loan at Southport.

He has featured for Tranmere's reserves but is still waiting to make his first-team debut.

Elsewhere, striker Terry Gornell and youth-team captain Aaron Creswell, both 18, have signed their first professional contracts with the club.
