Tranmere's Steve Davies says he will not think about setbacks as he continues his rehabilitation from a cruciate knee ligament injury.

The 20-year-old striker told BBC Radio Merseyside: "I'm just concentrating on working hard with physio Les Parry and getting back to full fitness.

"I'm finding that I want to get ahead of myself, but the staff at Tranmere are quite rightly holding me back."

Davies, who was injured in September, will not play again until next season.
