Shuker came off after just nine minutes of the game at Prenton Park and could now face a spell on the sidelines.

Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore said: "It's his knee. It's badly swollen so we'll just have to wait and see."

Moore added: "I can't fault the lads. I'm pleased with the win and feel we deserved to win the game."
