Mullin could be on the sidelines for up to six weeks |
Tranmere midfielder John Mullin has had an operation to have a bone spur removed from his ankle. The problem had prevented Mullin from playing this season but the 32-year-old will now be back in contention in between four and six weeks.
"Everything has gone well and it will be like having a new player when he comes back," said manager Ronnie Moore.
Mullin started 42 games for Tranmere last season after joining the club from Rotherham United.
