 Thompson has returned to Prenton Park for a second loan spell |
Tranmere have signed Nottingham Forest defender John Thompson on loan for the second time this season. The 25-year-old made seven appearances for Rovers during the autumn, before being recalled and playing five times for Forest over the festive season.
However, he will now spend the rest of the season at Prenton Park - which takes him until his City Ground contract expores.
The Republic of Ireland international has made 147 appearances for Forest.
