Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore has made former Barnsley defender Antony Kay his second signing of the summer. Kay, 24, has agreed a two-year deal at Prenton Park after being released by Barnsley at the end of last season.
Moore told his club's website: "Antony is a quality defender who has great experience in the Championship. I've tried my hardest to sign him."
Kay, who can play in midfield, started over 150 league games for Barnsley after coming through the youth system.
