Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone will see a specialist to assess the ankle ligament damage he suffered during Sunday's win over Everton.
The 23-year-old was injured when he was tackled by John Heitinga early in the second half and left White Hart Lane in a protective boot.
"Scans revealed that Tom has suffered damage to the ligaments in his right ankle," said a statement from the club.
"He will see a specialist before deciding on the best course of rehab."
England international Huddlestone joined Tottenham from Derby in July 2005.
He joins fellow midfielder Jermaine Jenas, winger Aaron Lennon and defenders Jonathan Woodgate and Ledley King on a lengthy injury list. As a result, Spurs have recalled midfielder Jake Livermore from his loan spell at Peterborough.
