Torquay United have signed Queens Park Rangers midfielder Romone Rose and Wolves striker Ashley Hemmings on loan.
Rose, 20, joins the Gulls on a three-month loan, while Hemmings, 19 will be at Plainmoor for one month.
Torquay boss Paul Buckle told BBC Devon: "We have a healthy relationship with QPR and I'm excited as Romone will be a great addition to the squad.
"Ashley is naturally left footed and has fantastic pace and will be a really good addition to the squad."
He added: "It's that time of the season now where I feel the squad needs a bit of help and that's where my efforts have been this week."
Both Rose and Hemmings have been included in the Gulls squad for Saturday's away trip to Gillingham.
Torquay have also revealed that midfielder Lloyd Macklin has penned a two-year extension to his contract, keeping him at the club until 2013.
The 19-year-old has played six games for the Gulls this season since joining from Swindon in the summer.
