Todd is finding it hard to get back to match fitness after leukaemia

Torquay United defender Chris Todd has said he is considering a loan move to try and get back to match fitness.

The 27-year-old has returned to training after more than two months out after being diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia.

"With the lads playing so well it's difficult to get back in the side," he wrote in his BBC Devon column.

"I'm looking for a loan move at the moment to get a few games and see how it goes from there."

He added: "It's a matter of finding a team to play for. The lads are doing well so I need games really."

But Todd, who gets married at the weekend, said he would not make any decision on where or if he moves away from Plainmoor temporarily until after his wedding.
