Torquay United have agreed to sign on-loan Shrewsbury goalkeeper Scott Bevan on a new 18-month contract.
Bevan has been on loan since September, and will officially make his move to Plainmoor permanent when the transfer window reopens on 1 January.
United boss Paul Buckle told the club's website: "We are very lucky to get someone of his quality for no fee.
"I know he is the right kind of man for the club, both as a goalkeeper and as a person," he added.
Bevan was brought in to Plainmoor after Michael Poke, also a loan signing, suffered a thigh injury.
