Torquay manager Paul Buckle was happy his side got back to winning ways by beating Bath City 2-0 in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
The Gulls were reeling after losing 4-2 at Eastbourne Borough on Tuesday night.
"We don't want to go out of any cups and it hurt us the other night at Eastbourne," Buckle told BBC Devon.
"But we've got the winning feeling back and we're still on a fabulous run over the last couple of months. We just need to keep working hard."
And Buckle was happy that his side, which made the FA Trophy final last May, were not a big first-round casualty.
"These games are always very tricky and I'm absolutely delighted because it was a professional performance," he added.
"I knew before the game that there was going to be upsets in this cup, but we really want to get back to Wembley and I think the players showed that."
