New Torquay United striker Matt Green has hinted that Chris Zebroski may still sign for the club.
Zebroski, 21, was a success at the club last season and scored 19 league goals after signing on loan from Millwall.
But the former Plymouth winger returned to his parent club after Torquay lost the FA Trophy final to Ebbsfleet United at Wembley last month.
"I know a few of the players there like Zebroski, if he signs next year," Green told BBC Radio Devon.
Zebroski was one of the first players to leave the club following their failure to gain promotion back to the Football League.
Since then, manager Paul Buckle has signed a host of new players including Green and former Exeter City winger Wayne Carlisle.
