Torquay United owner Mike Bateson has agreed to sell the club to a consortium led by Cris Boyce. A club statement read: "Mike Bateson has agreed to sell his 51% stake in TUFC to a consortium led by Cris Boyce.
"Mr Bateson will not comment further other than to say details are being finalised by lawyers and completion is expected early this week."
The Gulls begin next season in the Conference following relegation from the Football League.
