Swindon's Danny Wilson quiet on loan players' futures

Swindon Town manager Danny Wilson says no announcement will be made on the future of the club's loan players until after the next two games.

The Robins currently have five players on temporary deals but their contracts are due to run out in January.

Wilson explained: "We are still in the process of talking. But we have just got to get these two games out of the way first."

Swindon face Charlton away on Boxing Day and Yeovil at home two days later.

Simon Ferry and Ben Hutchinson, both from Celtic, Alex Revell from Southend, Alan Sheehan from Leeds and Danny Ward from Bolton are all currently on loan at the County Ground.

Ferry has made the biggest impact at Swindon, making 18 appearances so far, while Sheehan has started all four games since he signed in late November.

But Wilson is refusing to be drawn on who will be staying. "There's still a lot of football between now and the 3 January when quite a few of the loan deals end.

"I don't want to distract the players by saying now that we're having them or we're not having them." he added.

"We've just got to make sure we get the best out of them during the next two games. Then we'll say what our plans are."
