Roberts is confident his benefit match will still be a memorable occasion
Christian Roberts is sure he can attract the big names to Swindon's County Ground again after his benefit match was rearranged for 25 March.
The game between a Swindon XI and a Chelsea All-stars team was meant to be staged on Wednesday night but has been postponed due to the weather.
The likes of Dennis Wise, Gus Poyet and Gianfranco Zola were lined up to play.
Roberts told BBC Radio Swindon: "It's disappointing. I wanted it to be one of the best experiences at the ground."
Steve Clarke, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink, Graeme Le-Saux, Dmitri Kharine and Roberto Di Matteo had also been lined up.
"They've been excellent. All we're doing is moving it a couple of weeks as we just felt that, with the weather, it was in the best interests that we put it off."
Roberts was forced to retire from football in 2008 after also playing for Cardiff, Exeter and Bristol City.
Proceeds from the fixture will go to charity. All original tickets are valid for the new date.
