Dave Byrne blamed his team's draw on a poor passing display
Swindon Town caretaker boss Dave Byrne criticised his team's performance after seeing them concede a late equaliser to Peterborough United on Tuesday night.
For the second successive game, Swindon let in a 90th-minute goal to draw 2-2 after Jack Smith and Simon Cox had put the Wiltshire club into the lead.
Byrne told BBC Radio Swindon: "I didn't think we deserved a victory tonight.
"I thought a draw would've been fair. We put ourselves under pressure because we don't keep the ball properly."
Swindon conceded an injury-time strike at Bristol Rovers on Saturday and Byrne felt his players shot themselves in the foot again at the County Ground.
"I'm not going to name individuals but as a team I thought we were very poor in possession.
"We've had a chat about it and its something we've done all season.
"It causes you problems. I wouldn't say Peterborough are any better than us. I'm delighted with a draw but I'm gutted because again we were 2-1 up."
