Swindon Town manager Maurice Malpas is hoping for an FA Cup run to boost the club's finances.
The Robins face Blue Square Premier side Histon on Saturday in the first round of the cup in Cambridgeshire.
Malpas told BBC Radio Swindon: "It is a good way for us as a team to generate money to use for the team, by getting more people in the ground.
"We're realistic, we aren't going to get to the final but it necessarily doesn't mean we can't have a run."
He continued: "[Hopefully] we could draw one of the big teams. We could learn from that. Get a run, get yourself a bit of prestige."
Swindon lost in a third round replay to Barnet last season on penalties.
