Swindon Town are set to cut the cost of season tickets at the County Ground by 33% - provided they can get 6,000 fans to sign up for them.
Under the scheme, every adult seat in the ground will be sold for 229.
By charging an an average price of less than 10 a game, Swindon are trying to encourage fans old and new to turn up at the County Ground.
Town are hoping that the reduction will bring in almost double the 3,000 season ticket holders they currently have.
The Robins have been encouraged by the experience of Bradford City, who slashed season ticket prices to 138 at the beginning of the 2007/08 season and attracted over 9,000 regulars as a result.
If the target of 6,000 season tickets is not reached, then there will be a 40 addition to the cost. However this would still represent a considerable reduction on prices charged this season.
As part of the change, seats throughout the ground will now cost the same, whether you are sitting in the newly re-named Don Rogers stand or the Town End.
The price for individual matches has been set at 20.
