Swansea have turned down a �4.5m bid for Bodde from Wigan

Ferrie Bodde took a step nearer to a long-awaited return to Swansea City's first team on Wednesday.

He played 83 minutes for the Swansea reserves in a 1-1 draw against Swindon Town at the Gnoll in Neath, which also saw Fede Bessone return after injury.

Dutch midfielder Bodde has been out since damaging cruciate ligaments in the loss to Birmingham on 21 November.

Swansea turned down a fresh bid for Bodde from Wigan last week, the fee thought to have been £4.5m.
