"It's a little bit of a shame for myself that I didn't play more, but I still feel part of the team."
Bodde arrived back in Swansea this week after undergoing a six-week rehabilitation programme back in his native Holland.
And the Dutchman admits he has found it hard not playing while his team-mates close the gap on the play-off spots.
"I am frustrated," he said. "I can't wait for my first step on the green grass and to be outside with the boys again."
Bodde was the top scorer for the Swans this season with seven goals before his picked up the injury.
His running of the midfield and pin-point passing attracted interest from Premier League clubs who were reportedly ready to bid up to 5m for him in the January transfer window.
But that is now all on hold as he makes his recovery.
Bodde said he had starting kicking a ball and doing light exercises but is not expecting to make a comeback until pre-season.
"The recovery is going well," he added. "My knee is looking well.
"I have been out of crutches for three weeks and I'm not wearing a brace anymore.
"I'm seven weeks into my rehab now and I see every week it gets better and I can do more. Everything is on schedule.
"I have to see the surgeon in London next week and see what he says about it and what the future brings for me."
