Hammill was in Liverpool's in the 2006 FA Youth Cup final
Roberto Martinez has confirmed Swansea City are tracking Liverpool youngster Adam Hammill.
Martinez wants the 19-year-old to fill the void left by his Anfield team-mate Paul Anderson, who snubbed a return to Swansea to join Nottingham Forest.
"Adam Hammill is one of a number of players we have been following," said Swans boss Martinez.
Martinez also admitted Darryl Duffy might leave Swansea as the striker is attracting interest of clubs.
The 24-year-old Scotsman is down Martinez's striking pecking order at the Liberty Stadium and scored just one goal in 20 appearances as Swansea romped to the League One title.
"There has been a lot of interest in Darryl in recent weeks," said Martinez.
"But there are other issues to consider and nothing has been concluded."
League One side Bristol Rovers are ready to offer Swansea 100,000 for Duffy, who still has two years remaining on his Liberty Stadium contract.
Meanwhile, highly-rated Hammill, who spent last season on loan at Southampton, is an England Under-19 youth international and is being tracked by a host of clubs.
