Southampton have secured the services of 19-year-old Liverpool winger Adam Hammill on a season-long loan. Saints beat off strong competition from Scottish champions Celtic to sign the England Under 19 international, who can operate on either flank.
Manager George Burley said: "He is a young player who did very well on loan at Dunfermline last season.
"He is a quick player who likes to take people on. He has bags of potential and I am very pleased to have got him."
