Britton is set to make his 200th league appearance for the Swans |
Leon Britton admits he has been on a rollercoaster ride with Swansea City as he looks to make his 200th league appearance for the club on Saturday. The pint-sized midfielder, 25, has experienced a relegation battle, promotion, trophy success, and play-off heartache in his five years there.
"Playing my 200th game is a nice achievement," said Britton.
"We were one game away from being out of the Football League when I joined and look where the club is now."
The Swans are 10 points clear at the top of League One and are on course for promotion to the second tier of English football for the first time in 24 years.
And they will be looking to extend that lead at Crewe on Saturday.

"The confidence is there, but it's just about the next game. We can't get too above ourselves and get over-confident because we'll come unstuck," said Britton.
"Crewe are going to be fighting for their lives. They are in a bit of a relegation battle at the moment.
"Even though they are on a poor run of form, it can easily turn on Saturday because they are going to look to kick-start their season."
Britton is already aiming for his next milestone of 300 games but is hoping his latest will help the Swans pick up another three points on their quest for a place in the Championship.
"When I first came down, we had a massive relegation battle that year and managed to beat Hull on the last game of the season.
"From that day on, I was so attached to the club. You just have to look how far it has come.
"There's been a lot of ups and downs - there's always an eventful season here, but promotion will be a good achievement for the club."
