Leaders Swansea squandered a two-goal advantage as Crewe hit back for a share of the spoils at Gresty Road. Jason Scotland put the Swans ahead, sending Ben Williams the wrong way from the spot after nine minutes following a Danny Woodards trip on Andy Robinson.
On 40 minutes, Gary Roberts headed Thomas Butler's cross into his own net.
But Julien Baudet headed in Eugen Bopp's 83rd-minute corner and substitute Tom Pope turned in Bopp's cut-back with a minute remaining.
