Knight failed to shine at Barnsley |
Leon Knight has returned to Swansea City after Barnsley decided not to make his loan deal a permanent one. Knight joined Barnsley in late November after being transfer-listed by Swansea, but failed to score in his nine appearances for the Tykes.
The 24-year-old come on as a substitute for the last five minutes of Barnsley's 2-0 defeat at Blues on Monday.
Swansea put Knight up for sale in October, with manager Kenny Jackett saying he lacked commitment.
Knight joined Swansea on a two-and-a-half-year deal last January for 125,000, but he has been told in no uncertain terms that he has no future at the club.
He has already rejected a chance to join Peterborough and Northampton.
