Sunderland start could have been better - Nedum Onuoha

Sunderland defender Nedum Onuoha says that he and his team-mates are far from satisfied despite an impressive run of Premier League results.

The Black Cats are unbeaten in four games, including a 1-0 victory over Manchester City and draws with Arsenal and Liverpool.

"As a team we're disappointed we haven't got another win under our belts," Onuoha told BBC Newcastle.

"As much as we've been unbeaten in certain games, we're still mid-table."

Onuoha added: "Another win and we could have been comfortably fifth or sixth."

The 23-year-old joined Sunderland on a season-long loan from Manchester City in August.

"It's been really enjoyable, I've enjoyed playing at the Stadium of Light and I never realised how intense it can be," said the former England under-21 international.

"I've seen sights I didn't think I'd see anywhere else than the City of Manchester, it's really, really rocking.

"We've played against City there, and Arsenal there, and got four points which could have been six, and I didn't think that would happen."
