Cisse is a keen fly fisherman and hopes to indulge in the pastime
Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse believes his favourite pastime of fishing will help him settle during his season-long loan from Marseille.
Cisse, 27, has already planned a trip with fellow angling enthusiast Grant Leadbitter and believes the relaxation aspect of the sport will be beneficial.
"I made mistakes in the past and now I'm here I want to be 100% on my football," he told BBC Radio Newcastle.
"I'm quiet, I like quiet stuff and it's good to be with people like Grant."
The French international has enjoyed a bright start to his Sunderland career, scoring a debut winner against Tottenham, and has two strikes to his name overall in seven appearances.
After an injury-hit spell back in his home country with Marseille, Cisse is happy to be back playing in the Premier League, and enjoying his football.
"It's one of the best leagues in the world and I'm really proud to be here," he said.
"We played against Van Persie and Adebayor against Arsenal this weekend, and in two weeks time we play against Michael Owen and Newcastle.
"It's good to play against the best players in the world and Europe."
