Diouf (left) and Cisse both arrived at Sunderland this summer
Sunderland winger El-Hadji Diouf believes fans have yet to see the best of on-loan Marseille striker Djibril Cisse at the Stadium of Light.
The French international has scored twice in six games so far and Diouf is confident Cisse will add to that tally once he is fully settled on Wearside.
"We need to adapt to the way that he plays," he told BBC Radio Newcastle.
"Myself, [midfielder] Steed Malbranque and everybody, we need more games and just to keep going."
Cisse notched his second goal for Sunderland in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Aston Villa, and Diouf was left to rue defensive lapses at set-pieces, particularly after the Black Cats' bright start.
"We played good football, we started well and we were good passing the ball," he said.
"We are learning, there are a lot of new guys there and two free-kicks later we've lost the game.
"If we get a clean sheet in the first half then we have a chance of winning the game."
