Sunderland defender Phil Bardsley wants his side to relax during Saturday's vital game at Derby rather than worry about their fight against relegation. Bardsley, who joined the Black Cats in a 2m move from Manchester United in January, fears Roy Keane's side may get anxious if they are not ahead.
But he told BBC Radio Newcastle: "It doesn't matter when the goals come.
"We have got to enjoy the game and not think about the pressure. If we play like we can, we will get the points."
Bardsley has slotted into Sunderland's back-four alongside his former United team-mate Jonny Evans, who is on loan at the Stadium of Light from Old Trafford.
Along with Nyron Nosworthy, Danny Collins and goalkeeper Craig Gordon, Bardsley believes Sunderland have benefited from having a regular defensive unit.

"We have been quite steady in recent weeks," he added. "All five of us, including Craig, are a big unit.

"Craig has got a big presence in goal and a great goalkeeper to have behind you. It's a pleasure playing with him."
