Stoke can better last year's points tally - Rory Delap
Delap's throw-ins have been a constant threat to Premier League defences
Stoke midfielder Rory Delap says the Potters are aiming to improve on their tally of 45 points from their first campaign in the Premier League.
Saturday's 1-0 win at West Ham gives them 39 points with seven games left.
Stoke are 12 points clear of the relegation zone but Delap refuses to believe Stoke are safe.
"I wouldn't like to say yes or no, but we're on course to better last season's tally and that's what we've set out to do," he told BBC Radio Stoke.
Stoke, who finished 12th last season on their Premier League debut, are 11th in the table going into the Easter programme.
The victory at Upton Park, thanks to a superb individual strike by Ricardo Fuller, briefly took the Potters into the top half of the table, before Blackburn overtook them on Sunday with a win at Burnley.
Stoke face relegation-threatened Hull at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.
"We've got to concentrate fully on Hull," added Delap. "It's another game at home that we need to go out and win.
"If we get the win we'll be on 42 points and that will stand us in good stead to better what we did last year."
