Stoke manager Tony Pulis says that Mama Sidibe and Ricardo Fuller were the difference in the Potters' 3-1 FA Cup fourth round win over Arsenal.

Fuller scored twice, his second goal coming from Sidibe's cross.

Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke: "Ric's come on in the last two games and done absolutely fantastic for us.

"Everyone knows how I feel about Sidibe. He's an important player for us. His biggest attribute is his unselfishness for the team."

Pulis continued: "The way we play, and the way we want to play, you need people like Sidibe in the team."

Midfielder Dean Whitehead added the third goal as Stoke sealed their first ever victory over Arsenal in the FA Cup and booked a fifth-round trip to Manchester City.

"I'm very proud of them, I thought the spirit and commitment of the players was first class," added Pulis.

"When you beat top teams, irrespective of the team that [Arsenal manager] Arsene Wenger has put out, it gives everyone confidence.

"It's great for our football club and great for our supporters, who have had to stomach Arsenal in the Cup over the years [having lost to the Gunners in semi-finals in 1971 and 1972]. It's nice to put one over on them."
