Tuncay struggled to make an immediate impact at Stoke City
Stoke City striker Tuncay could miss the Premier League game away at Burnley on Saturday with a hamstring problem.
The Turkey international, 27, was injured in the 3-2 victory over Fulham at the Britannia Stadium on Tuesday.
The former Middlesbrough forward scored his second goal for Stoke to help them move back into the top half of the Premier League table.
"He was the talisman, he gave us the energy and the power," manager Tony Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke.
"I was so pleased that he got his goal, especially in front of the Boothen End."
Tuncay, who had to wait over two months for his first Premier League start for the Potters after joining from Boro in August, had to leave the field after 42 minutes.
By that time Stoke were 3-0 up, thanks to further goals from captain Abdoulaye Faye and striker Mama Sidibe, but Pulis admitted a late Fulham fightback left him nervous about the outcome of the game.
"I was biting my nails in the last five minutes," said the Stoke boss. "You have to give credit to Fulham for the way they pushed on in the second half, but we still had opportunities to score."
Stoke ended a run of six Premier League games without a win and three without a goal with victory against the Cottagers.
