Tony Pulis has admitted he would like to run the London Marathon again - but only after he passes his 60th birthday.

The 51-year-old completed the 26.2-mile course in four hours 32 minutes.

"I did one in my 40's, I've done one now in my 50's, so now I'll wait now until I'm in my 60's," the Stoke City manager told BBC Radio Stoke.

"There were a hell of a lot of Stoke supporters there as well and they cheered me round all the way. I thank them all very much."

Pulis was running the marathon in aid of the Donna Louise Trust, a children's hospice based in Stoke-on-Trent.

"After the race I stiffened up, but the day after I woke up and felt fine," added Pulis.

"The training that you put in determines how well you do, and obviously I've had a few other things to think about recently.

"It was a brilliant day for spectators, not so great for the runners. But it's a good test and it certainly focuses your mind."

Pulis can now concentrate on keeping Stoke City in the Premier League.

The Potters are eight points above the relegation zone, with four matches of the season left to play.
