Pulis urges caution over survival

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has warned his team that there is still work to do before their Premier League survival is assured.

The Potters won away from home for the first time this season by beating West Bromwich Albion 2-0 on Saturday.

Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm concerned about keeping our feet on the ground. We've got Newcastle coming up next week and Alan Shearer's in town.

"There will be lots of hullabaloo, and it's a massive game for both clubs."

Goals from Ricardo Fuller and James Beattie helped Stoke continue their hoodoo over the Baggies - they have lost just once to Albion in their last 25 league meetings.

Pulis added: "It's lovely to see Ricardo and James both score. Your two forwards have come out of the game with two goals and that's what you want from them.

"We broke quickly on them and created lots of opportunities against them. Matthew Etherington was a constant threat.

"That was his first full game for a while and there's a lot more to come from him."
