Pulis will not rush Fuller back

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is not willing to rush top scorer Ricardo Fuller back into the Potters' team.

Fuller has made three substitute appearances since dislocating his shoulder at Sunderland on 7 February.

Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke: "I spoke to Ric about it and he's still a bit unsure and concerned over it.

"We're hoping to get him and Matty [Etherington] back in the team because they're important to us, but we must not lose them whatever we do."

Fuller, 29, was expected to miss up to three months after sustaining the injury at the Stadium of Light, but with a break in the Premier League fixture list, he managed to return to the match-day squad after missing just one game.

The Jamaican international is the Potters' top scorer this season with seven goals, the last of which came in their 2-0 success over Bolton on 4 March.

Stoke's 3-1 defeat by Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday pushed them back into the relegation zone in the Premier League.
