Sidibe reluctant over Mali return
Stoke striker Mamady Sidibe
Sidibe joined Stoke from Gillingham in the summer of 2005
Stoke City's Mali striker Mamady Sidibe has passed on an offer to play for his country again after he was attacked by supporters last month.

The 27-year-old was left with a deep gash in his right arm and cuts to his face following a game against Togo.

He told Stoke's website: "I need to have a real hard think about whether I play for them again.

"My family in Mali want me to play for my country, but my wife and my parents are scared because of what happened."
