| Stoke City have rejected Blackpool's improved offer of about �150,000 for defender Andy Wilkinson. Blackpool were impressed by the Staffordshire-born 23-year-old during his brief loan spell at Bloomfield Road last season. "The offer they have made is unacceptable. They haven't come back with an offer we want," Stoke boss Tony Pulis told the Sentinel. "If Andy wants to stay here we will talk about that with him."
