Craddock joined Wolves from Sunderland in 2005 |
Stoke have strengthened their defensive options by signing Royal Antwerp's Richie de Laet and sealing a loan deal for Wolves' Jody Craddock. De Laet, 18, has agreed a three-year deal with the Potters for an initial fee of 100,000.
And 32-year-old former Sunderland player Craddock, who was captain at Molineux, has joined on a one-month loan which the club hopes to extend.
The centre-back made 120 appearances for Wolves, 32 last season.
Stoke first-team coach Mark O'Connor insists Craddock is a player with a proven track record.
"Jody is a player of vast experience at this level," O'Connor said.
"He has played in promotion-winning teams from this division and we are very happy to have him here."
And regarding De Laet manager Tony Pulis said: "I'm delighted we've managed to sign Richie, he is a very good player and I am certain he will prove to be a good acquisition for the club."
