Stoke keeper Steve Simonsen has signed a two-year extension to his deal which will keep him at the club until 2010. Simonsen has made over 130 appearances for the Potters since joining from Everton three years ago.
He told the club's website: "I am an ambitious person and I am happy to be at a club which shares my ambition.
"Morale in the squad is high, and we are looking to build on the last three years and improve even more this season," the 28-year-old added.
