 Fuller found the net twice against Newcastle Town |
Stoke City beat Newcastle Town 5-1 in their opening pre-season friendly at the Lyme Valley Stadium. Ricardo Fuller put the Potters ahead after 7 minutes but Liam McMann hit back for Newcastle ten minutes later. Fuller restored Stoke's lead ten minutes before half-time and Vincent Pericard made it 3-1 on the hour-mark. Liam Lawrence extended the visitors' advantage further five minutes later and Robert Garrett grabbed their fifth goal ten minutes from time.
