Duberry has shone in Stoke's defence this season |
Reading have made an inquiry about Stoke defender Michael Duberry, according to Potters boss Tony Pulis. The 31-year-old has been a key part of a Stoke defence that has conceded only 25 goals in the Championship all season but is out of contract in the summer.
"Reading have inquired about him. That is as far as it's gone," said Pulis.
"We inquire about 30 players a day but getting things done is different. At the moment it's all ifs, buts and maybes so we will see what happens."
Pulis may choose to cash in on the former Leeds and Chelsea man before his contract runs out.
"He is still a Stoke player at this moment in time so he will be out doing his best for the club against Ipswich on Tuesday," he said.
