Delap joined Sunderland after a spell with Southampton | Stoke boss Tony Pulis has signed Sunderland midfielder Rory Delap in a three-month loan deal, reportedly beating off interest from Derby. The 30-year-old Republic of Ireland international has featured just once for the Black Cats since Roy Keane took over as manager. "We've put in a lot of work to get Rory here," Pulis told Stoke's website. "He has bags of experience and can fill a variety of positions across the midfield or defence."
