 Sweeney will cost Stoke more if he plays for Scotland |
Stoke have been ordered to pay an initial �150,000 to Millwall for Peter Sweeney by a transfer tribunal. The 20-year-old could cost another �100,000 depending on appearances, with a further �25,000 due if he plays at full international level for Scotland.
"It's only right and proper Millwall are compensated for the part they've played in his development," said Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes.
Stoke have also agreed to pay Millwall a 15% sell-on clause.
