Stockport County boss Gary Ablett keen to end doubts
Ablett's side have already been relegated from League One
Uncertainty over Stockport's ownership means it cannot decide on players' futures, says boss Gary Ablett.
A deal with a consortium fronted by ex-chief executive Sean Connelly is still to go through, leaving Ablett with no power to decide who stays at the club.
He told BBC Radio Manchester: "No-one has stepped forward to speak to me about what's going on and what the plans are for the future.
"If they don't include me, fine. If they do, we can get on with planning."
He added: "We're miles behind in terms of where we need to be for pre-season.
"Obviously, you've got the problem for the majority of players here at this football club who are out of contract in the summer.
"I've had people knocking on the door already and it's unfair of me to make a decision on someone's future if I'm not going to be here myself."
