Stockport chairman Norman Beverley has targeted a Championship place for his newly-promoted club by 2013.

County secured promotion to League One by beating Rochdale 3-2 on Monday.

Beverley told BBC Radio Manchester: "We've all got hopes of making the Championship and our five year plan is in place.

"It is a very fluid five year plan though and let's see what we can do in this division next year. Who knows where we can get to?"

Beverley added: "With the good young players we've got and the way we play our football and the backing of our crowd, let's see what happens."
