Striker Adam Proudlock has signed a pre-contract agreement on a deal designed to keep him at Stockport until the end of next season. Proudlock has been on non-contract terms since the summer but has scored four goals in his last four games.
And County boss Jim Gannon said: "It's great news that Adam has opted to stay.
"His first three months were a little difficult after he picked up a few niggling injuries but his quality is now starting to shine through."
County have also extended the loan spell of Wolves midfielder Stephen Gleeson, 18, for a second month.
